I am a fragrance snob. I purposively look for unique and expensive fragrance in hopes that I will smell different from everyone else. I was curious about the Bond hype. Their bottles are pretty, but it's what's inside that intrigued me. Astor Place took me back to my youth in the 80s. It smells like big hair, blue eyeshadow, and shoulder pads. In other words, it smells fabulous. It's a fruity floral without being sickly sweet (remember that disgusting Exclamation perfume -- well this is on the opposite end of the spectrum). Is it worth the expense? I am.

This is a nice scent, not spectacular... Yes it is different and not the "run of the mill off the shelf sickly sweet celebrity type scent"... Although Astor place won a perfume industry award this year as 'Best Scent for Professional Women', I just think it is lacking. Unless you have sampled this on YOUR skin and are in-love, I would not purchase this before trying Bond No.9 Andy Warhol, Union Square (Union Square won't blow you away either) which smells like the "finished version" of Astor Place to me..And just a side note folks, there are a lot of people selling knock offs of high end perfumes on the web-If you are going to buy a high dollar niche perfume- deal with the retail store- at least you know you are getting the genuine article, and returns are no hassle..Lastly, all the Bond perfumes smell drastically different from one person to another, so you should definitely try it on yourself first..

I've tried Bond No. 9 Astor Place Eau De Parfum Spray 3.3.oz. several times from Saks Fifth Avenue and loved it so much but can't afford to pay full price. Each time I tried it on the beautiful scent lasted on me the entire day.
I finally saw it on sale for approximately $175 (shipping included), still not cheap for a perfume but a better price compared to SFA, so I bought it. I was disappointed because it doesn't have the lasting and beautiful scent as the one I've tried from the store. It doesn't have the same concentration, has more alcohol in it than the perfume. I'm not happy with this purchase at all. I've been ripped off.
I wish I can return it to the seller, unfortunately, I used the perfume after the return policy expired.

100% FAKE.
The smell stays on max 10 minutes. After two times open/close the lid dyed and lost its golden color. Completely unsatisfyed. Will sue the amazon.com when I come back from Europe. It was a gift and how embarassed I should feel now!
